Since we're in the middle of Mardi Gras, I'm going to share with y'all, my coffee shop friends, what I share with my students every year.
You do not have to flash your tits.
If it's something you want to do, go for it and have fun—no shame in that at all! But you'd rather not, don't get pressured by the party atmosphere, because I promise, promise, promise there are enough beads to go around. You can be swimming in beads without even trying. If someone tries to tell you you have to, they're an asshole you don't need in your life.
And always, stay safe and have fun.
